In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Sunset Knights basketball team scored a decisive 49-24 triumph over the Varela Vipers.

In their next game, the Knights meet the Killian Cougars (Miami, FL) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, January 25. Sunset will attempt to move on its 11-5 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 13-6 record after their 64-19 non-league loss to Miami (Miami, FL).
