Minnesota High School Basketball - White River nips Hills-Beaver Creek
January 14, 2023: Hills, MN 56138 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the White River Tigers (White River, SD) and the host Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots (Hills, MN), saw White River's basketball squad hold off Hills-Beaver Creek by a count of 62-55.
With the victory, White River upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Lyman (Presho, SD) to play the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Lyman won 64-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Bennett County (Martin, SD)
Next up, the Patriots play the Elkton/Lake Benton Elks (Elkton, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 16. Hills-Beaver Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Elks come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 51-42 non-league win over Arlington (Arlington, SD).
