New Jersey High School Basketball - Paramus Catholic topples Ramapo
January 6, 2011: Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417 In Thursday's non-league outing, the Paramus Catholic Paladins (Paramus, NJ) basketball squad beat the host Ramapo Raiders (Franklin Lakes, NJ), by a count of 73-57.
The Paladins (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Our Savior New American (Centereach, NY). The go into the non-league outing with a 4-4 record. In their last outing, Our Savior New American gained a win over Christian Heritage (Trumbull, CT), 115-59, in a non-league outing.
The Raiders now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northern Highlands for a Big North I outing on Tuesday, January 11. Ramapo will encounter a Highlanders squad coming off a 88-85 league loss to Fair Lawn (Fair Lawn, NJ). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-4.
First Quarter

Second Quarter
alot of turnovers for both teams in the 2nd quarter, PC still won a ugly quarter 13 to 12 and lead Ramopo at the half 35-33. Ramopo played tough man to man full court defense, keeping the game close.
Third Quarter
5 pts apiece from Justin Harris & Manny Hernendez PC played hard defensive and held Ramopo to 7 pts in the 3rd. PC won the quarter 19 to 7 to strech the lead 54-40
Fourth Quarter
Harris came alive in the 4th with 12 of his 20 pts in the final period. PC won the quarter 19 to 17. the final PC 73 Ramopo 57 Davis added 3 stl with his 18pts, Rivera had 6 stl& 7 asst with 10 pts,Hernendez added 11pts, 5reb, 4 asst & 8 stl Christmas played a solid game on D and added 5 stls, 2reb & 1 blk.
