Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD), 56-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Chopticon upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Braves travel to Great Mills (Great Mills, MD) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league bout on Friday, December 27. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 6-0. Great Mills won 66-34 in their recent non-league bout against La Plata (La Plata, MD)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Leonardtown Raiders (Leonardtown, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 3. La Plata will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
