The Highland Prep Honey Badgers basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Northland Prep Academy Spartans to 27 in the Honey Badgers league victory on Thursday.

The Honey Badgers now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Phoenix Christian for a 2A Central contest on Tuesday, January 24. Highland Prep will battle a Cougars team coming off a 63-13 league win over Mountainside (Wittmann, AZ). The Cougars record now stands at 9-7.

The Spartans (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against North Pointe Prep (Phoenix, AZ). The Falcons come into the 2A Central contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, North Pointe Prep triumphed over Glendale Prep Academy (Glendale, AZ), 31-0, in a league contest.
