Center Point Eagles (Birmingham, AL) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Philadelphia Tornadoes (Philadelphia, MS), 26-20 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Center Point improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Mountain Brook (Birmingham, AL) to confront the Spartans in a non-league test on Thursday, August 29. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 1-0. Mountain Brook won 35-6 in their recent non-league test against Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL)

With the loss, Philadelphia drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Tornadoes travel to West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS) to confront the Knights in a non-league test on Friday, August 30. The Knights come into the test with a record of 1-0. West Lauderdale won 16-0 in their recent non-league test against Nanih Waiya (Louisville, MS)
