In Friday's non-league contest, the Marquette Mustangs (Chesterfield, MO) volleyball squad knocked off the host Briarcrest Christian Saints (Eads, TN), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Mustangs battle the McGill-Toolen Yellowjackets (Mobile, AL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 15. Marquette will attempt to better on its 13-2 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the contest with a 18-4 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Hoover (Hoover, AL).
