September 20, 2022: Cosby, TN 37722 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the Cosby Eagles (Cosby, TN) and the visiting Cherokee Chiefs (Rogersville, TN), saw Cosby's soccer squad triumph over Cherokee by a count of 9-2.
The Eagles now hold a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Gatlinburg-Pittman for a non-league test on Thursday, September 22. Cosby will meet a Highlanders squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Greenback (Greenback, TN). The Highlanders record now stands at 5-4.
With the loss, Cherokee drops to 0-9 on the season. The Chiefs travel to Union County (Maynardville, TN) to meet the Patriots in a AA District 2 test on Thursday, September 22.
