Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Shadow Mountain Matadors (Phoenix, AZ) and the host Queen Creek Bulldogs (Queen Creek, AZ), saw Shadow Mountain's basketball squad knock off Queen Creek by a count of 72-56.

With the victory, Shadow Mountain upgrades its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Matadors host Coconino (Flagstaff, AZ) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 6. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Coconino won 73-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Payson (Payson, AZ)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Campo Verde Coyotes (Gilbert, AZ) in a II Section VI challenge, on Thursday, January 7. Queen Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 71-64 league loss to Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ).
