Georgia High School Lacrosse - Kennesaw Mountain drops to Pope
March 23, 2021: Marietta, GA 30062 Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA) boosters exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs (Kennesaw, GA), 18-6 in a league battle.
The Greyhounds now own a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they host Sprayberry for a 6A-7A Area 4 battle on Wednesday, March 24. Pope will clash with a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 25-0 league loss to Lassiter (Marietta, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 0-6.
In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Hillgrove Hawks (Powder Springs, GA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 25. Kennesaw Mountain will attempt to advance on its 3-8 season record. The Hawks come into the battle with a 10-0 record after their 16-4 non-league win over Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA).
