Lennox Academy Panthers (Lennox, CA) supporters were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Animo Leadership Aztec Eagles (Inglewood, CA), 47-46 in a non-league challenge.

With the victory, Lennox Academy improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to New Roads (Santa Monica, CA) to battle the Jaguars in a Coastal challenge on Monday, January 9. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 1-4.

Next up, the Aztec Eagles battle the Verbum Dei Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. Animo Leadership will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
