Georgia High School Basketball - Lithia Springs overwhelms Tri-Cities
January 13, 2009: East Point, GA 30344 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lithia Springs Lions (Lithia Springs, GA) and the host Tri-Cities Bulldogs (East Point, GA), saw Lithia Springs's basketball squad trounce Tri-Cities by a score of 52-29.
With the victory, Lithia Springs improves its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA) to play the Tigers in a 5A-AAAA challenge on Friday, January 16. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 17-0. Fayette County won 68-43 in their recent league challenge against Banneker (College Park, GA)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Fayette County Tigers (Fayetteville, GA) in a 5A-AAAA challenge, on Saturday, January 17. Tri-Cities will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 18-0 record after their 61-35 league win over Lithia Springs (Lithia Springs, GA).
