Michigan High School Basketball - Ubly nips All Saints Central
February 6, 2024: Ubly, MI 48475 Ubly Bearcats (Ubly, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting All Saints Central Cougars (Bay City, MI), 36-30 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Ubly upgrades its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Brown City (Brown City, MI) to play the Green Devils in a Greater Thumb - East bout on Thursday, February 8. The Green Devils come into the bout with a record of 8-8. Brown City won 46-21 in their recent non-league bout against Peck (Peck, MI)
Next up, the Cougars play the Akron-Fairgrove Vikings (Fairgrove, MI) in a North Central Thumb - Stripes bout, on Thursday, February 8. All Saints Central will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 52-1 non-league loss to Dryden (Dryden, MI).
