In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Lexington Minutemen basketball team scored a good 53-43 triumph over the Shelby Whippets.

In their next game, the Minutemen meet the Perkins Pirates (Sandusky, OH) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 22. Lexington will attempt to better on its 11-11 season record.

With the defeat, Shelby moves to 16-5 on the year. The Whippets host Willard (Willard, OH) to meet the Crimson Flashes in a non-league match on Thursday, February 15. The Crimson Flashes enter the match with a record of 11-10. Willard won 46-29 in their recent league match against Vermilion (Vermilion, OH)
