Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Upper Darby tops Sun Valley
January 15, 2022: Aston, PA 19014 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Upper Darby Royals (Drexel Hill, PA) and the host Sun Valley Vanguards (Aston, PA), saw Upper Darby's basketball squad knock off Sun Valley by a tally of 59-47.
With the victory, Upper Darby improves its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Royals host Radnor (Radnor, PA) to play the Raptors in a Central challenge on Wednesday, January 19. The Raptors come into the challenge with a record of 9-0. Radnor won 38-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Academy at Palumbo (Philadelphia, PA)
Next up, the Vanguards play the Bayard Rustin Golden Knights (West Chester, PA) in a Ches-Mont - American challenge, on Tuesday, January 18. Sun Valley will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record.
