Louisiana High School Basketball - Pearl River overwhelmed by St. Martin's Episcopal
January 19, 2022: Metairie, LA 70003 The St. Martin's Episcopal Saints basketball team scored 83 points and restricted the visiting Pearl River Rebels to 47 in the Saints non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Saints now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host West St. John for a 1A District 9 contest on Friday, January 21. St. Martin's Episcopal will battle a Rams team coming off a 68-56 non-league loss to St. John (Plaquemine, LA). The Rams record now stands at 6-6.
Next up, the Rebels clash with the Salmen Spartans (Slidell, LA) in a 4A District 9 bout, on Friday, January 21. Pearl River will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 12-10 record after their 69-66 non-league win over Wright (New Orleans, LA).
