Iowa High School Basketball - West Burlington topped by Central/Southeastern
January 23, 2023: West Burlington, IA 52655 The Central/Southeastern Panthers basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host West Burlington Falcons to 46 in the Panthers non-league victory on Monday.
The Panthers now sport a 21-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pleasant Hill/Western for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 26. Central/Southeastern will battle a Wolves team coming off a 50-24 league loss to Brown County (Mt. Sterling, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 9-18.
The Falcons (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against New London (New London, IA). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 0-17 record. In their last contest, New London was defeated by Mediapolis (Mediapolis, IA), 79-27, in a non-league contest.
