The Therrell Panthers ran past the visiting Towers Titans basketball team by a final score of 53-34 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Coretta Scott King YWLA Soaring Eagle (Atlanta, GA) in a AA Region 6 game, on Tuesday, January 24. Therrell will attempt to move on its 4-12 season record. The Soaring Eagle enter the game with a 2-15 record after their 62-17 league loss to North Cobb Christian (Kennesaw, GA).

With the defeat, Towers moves to 3-16 on the year. The Titans host Columbia (Decatur, GA) to face the Eagles in a AA Region 5 game on Tuesday, January 24.
