Virginia High School Basketball - King's Fork crushes Churchland
February 5, 2022: Suffolk, VA 23434 King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Churchland Truckers (Portsmouth, VA), 88-56 in a non-league bout.
With the win, King's Fork upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Bulldogs host Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA) to clash with the Warriors in a Southeastern bout on Tuesday, February 8. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 1-12. Nansemond River lost 60-45 in their recent league bout against Lakeland (Suffolk, VA)
Next up, the Truckers confront the Maury Commodores (Norfolk, VA) in a Eastern challenge, on Tuesday, February 8. Churchland will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record. The Commodores come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 39-34 league loss to Washington (Norfolk, VA).
