North Carolina High School Basketball - Watauga tops Chambers

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) and the host Chambers Cougars (Charlotte, NC), saw Watauga's basketball squad knock off Chambers by a tally of 55-44.

With the victory, Watauga improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Shelby (Shelby, NC) to play the Golden Lions in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, November 23. The Golden Lions come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Cougars play the Garinger Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 25. Chambers will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
