New Jersey High School Basketball - Bayonne tops Teaneck
January 15, 2024: Teaneck, NJ 07666 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Bayonne Bees (Bayonne, NJ) and the host Teaneck Highwaymen (Teaneck, NJ), saw Bayonne's basketball squad knock off Teaneck by a count of 55-40.
With the victory, Bayonne upgrades its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Bees host Kearny (Kearny, NJ) to play the Kardinals in a Hudson County - American challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Kardinals come into the challenge with a record of 6-5. Kearny lost 34-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Passaic County Tech (Wayne, NJ)
Next up, the Highwaymen play the Tenafly Tigers (Tenafly, NJ) in a Big North - National challenge, on Wednesday, January 17. Teaneck will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 74-65 non-league loss to Academy of the Holy Angels (Demarest, NJ).
