In Friday's non-league outing, the Punxsutawney Chucks (Punxsutawney, PA) basketball squad beat the host Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA), by a margin of 64-52.

The Chucks (5-5) will now prepare for their outing against St. Marys (St. Marys, PA). The Flying Dutch go into the District 9 outing with a 4-7 record. In their last outing, St. Marys was beaten by Elk County Catholic (St. Marys, PA), 45-35, in a league outing.
