February 1, 2024: Hebron, IL 60034 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Richmond-Burton Rockets (Richmond, IL) and the host Alden-Hebron Green Giants (Hebron, IL), saw Richmond-Burton's basketball squad wallop Alden-Hebron by a count of 58-33.
With the victory, Richmond-Burton upgrades its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Rockets host Sandwich (Sandwich, IL) to play the Indians in a Kishwaukee River challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 12-11. Sandwich lost 33-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Ottawa (Ottawa, IL)
Next up, the Green Giants play the Westminster Christian Warriors (Elgin, IL) in a Northeastern challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Alden-Hebron will attempt to upgrade on its 6-16 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 1-16 record after their 70-39 league loss to South Beloit (South Beloit, IL).
