October 9, 2009: Tyrone, PA 16686 Tyrone Golden Eagles (Tyrone, PA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting St. Marys Flying Dutch (St. Marys, PA), 27-14 in a league test.
With the triumph, Tyrone improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to Philipsburg-Osceola (Philipsburg, PA) to battle the Mountaineers in a Mountain - Nittany test on Friday, October 16. The Mountaineers come into the test with a record of 3-3. Philipsburg-Osceola won 31-6 in their recent league test against Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA)
With the loss, St. Marys drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Flying dutch travel to Indian Valley (Lewistown, PA) to battle the Warriors in a non-league test on Friday, October 16. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 1-5. Indian Valley lost 27-20 in their recent non-league test against Huntingdon (Huntingdon, PA)
