California High School Basketball - Palm Desert crushes Indio

February 4, 2016: Indio, CA 92201

Palm Desert Aztecs (Palm Desert, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Indio Rajahs (Indio, CA), 80-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Palm Desert upgrades its record to 16-8 on the season. The Aztecs travel to Santiago (Corona, CA) to play the Sharks in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 6. The Sharks go into the bout with a record of 12-11. Santiago lost 61-26 in their recent league bout against Centennial (Corona, CA)

Next up, the Rajahs play the Palm Springs Indians (Palm Springs, CA) in a Desert Valley bout, on Tuesday, February 9. Indio will attempt to upgrade on its 10-15 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 15-7 record after their 59-35 league win over La Quinta (La Quinta, CA).
