December 5, 2023: Marion, AR 72364 In Tuesday's non-league bout, the visiting Conway Wampus Cats basketball squad scored a nice 69-56 win over the Marion Patriots.
With the win, Conway upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Wampus Cats travel to George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 3-0. George Rogers Clark won 52-44 in their recent non-league bout against Franklin County (Frankfort, KY)
Next up, the Patriots play the Hutchison Sting (Memphis, TN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Marion will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Sting go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 76-64 non-league loss to Center Hill (Olive Branch, MS).
