New Mexico High School Basketball - Cleveland nips Atrisco Heritage Academy
February 10, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87121 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM) and the host Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars (Albuquerque, NM), saw Cleveland's basketball squad hold off Atrisco Heritage Academy by a tally of 50-48.
With the victory, Cleveland improves its record to 18-6 on the campaign. The Storm host Cibola (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Cougars in a 5A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 3-22. Cibola lost 73-50 in their recent league challenge against Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM)
Next up, the Jaguars play the Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 1 challenge, on Thursday, February 16. Atrisco Heritage Academy will attempt to improve on its 19-6 season record.
