Utah High School Soccer - Provo knocks off Juan Diego Catholic
September 7, 2023: Provo, UT 84601 Provo Bulldogs (Provo, UT) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle (Draper, UT), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs confront the Payson Lions (Payson, UT) in a 4A Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. Provo will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 6-1 league loss to Uintah (Vernal, UT).
The Soaring Eagle now possess a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Summit Academy for a 3A Region 14 challenge on Tuesday, September 12. Juan Diego Catholic will confront a Bears team coming off a 17-0 league loss to Judge Memorial Catholic (Salt Lake City, UT). The Bears record now stands at 1-6.
