Illinois High School Basketball - Tri-Valley overwhelms Calvary
January 29, 2022: Downs, IL 61736 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL) and the visiting Calvary Saints (Springfield, IL), saw Tri-Valley's basketball squad wallop Calvary by a tally of 45-17.
With the victory, Tri-Valley improves its record to 9-14 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Lexington (Lexington, IL) to confront the Minutemen in a Heart Of Illinois challenge on Monday, January 31. The Minutemen come into the challenge with a record of 14-12. Lexington lost 45-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Pontiac (Pontiac, IL)
Next up, the Saints confront the PORTA Bluejays (Petersburg, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 7. Calvary will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 39-20 league win over Athens (Athens, IL).
