Ohio High School Basketball - South nips Harvey
November 30, 2023: Painesville, OH 44077 South Rebels (Willoughby, OH) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Harvey Red Raiders (Painesville, OH), 46-39 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, South upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Euclid (Euclid, OH) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, December 4. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 1-2. Euclid lost 45-37 in their recent non-league bout against Berea-Midpark (Berea, OH)
Next up, the Red Raiders play the Edgewood Warriors (Ashtabula, OH) in a Chagrin Valley - Lake bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Harvey will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 59-40 non-league win over West Geauga (Chesterland, OH).
