The George Washington Patriots basketball team scored 81 points and held the visiting Doherty Spartans to 63 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Patriots now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kennedy for a 4A Denver Prep contest on Friday, February 11. George Washington will meet a Commanders team coming off a 75-71 league win over Montbello (Denver, CO). The Commanders record now stands at 14-5.
