California High School Lacrosse - Newark Memorial drops to Piedmont
April 1, 2022: Piedmont, CA 94611 Piedmont Highlanders (Piedmont, CA) followers exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Newark Memorial Cougars (Newark, CA), 16-3 in a league battle.
The Highlanders now have a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they host Tamalpais for a non-league battle on Monday, April 4. Piedmont will clash with a Red Tailed Hawks squad coming off a 21-4 league win over Branson (Ross, CA). The Red Tailed Hawks record now stands at 6-4.
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Notre Dame Tigers (Belmont, CA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 4. Newark Memorial will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 4-7 record after their 15-1 league loss to Castilleja (Palo Alto, CA).
