Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Minden Whippets (Minden, NE) and the host Holdrege Dusters (Holdrege, NE), saw Minden's basketball squad hold off Holdrege by a tally of 32-31.

With the victory, Minden improves its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Whippets host Cozad (Cozad, NE) to confront the Haymakers in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 5. The Haymakers come into the challenge with a record of 3-14.
