Mississippi High School Basketball - Biggersville fells Holly Springs
December 17, 2016: Corinth, MS 38834 Biggersville Lions (Corinth, MS) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Holly Springs Hawks (Holly Springs, MS), 60-52 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Biggersville upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Lions host Corinth (Corinth, MS) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Corinth lost 67-65 in their recent non-league bout against Ashland (Ashland, MS)
Next up, the Hawks play the Byhalia Indians (Byhalia, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Holly Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 75-59 non-league loss to Olive Branch (Olive Branch, MS).
