South Carolina High School Baseball - James Island defeats Dobyns-Bennett
April 6, 2023: Charleston, SC 29412 James Island Trojans (Charleston, SC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Dobyns-Bennett Indians (Kingsport, TN), 10-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, James Island upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Trojans host Olympic (Charlotte, NC) to battle the Trojans in a non-league test on Monday, April 10. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 12-4. Olympic lost 6-0 in their recent league test against South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC)
With the defeat, Dobyns-Bennett falls to 2-5 on the season. The Indians travel to David Crockett (Jonesborough, TN) to battle the Pioneers in a 4A District 1 test on Monday, April 10. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 1-12. David Crockett won 11-7 in their recent non-league test against Volunteer (Church Hill, TN)
