The West Rowan Falcons baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Forest Hills Yellow Jackets to 1 in the Falcons non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Falcons (6-4) will now prepare for their match against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Vikings go into the South Piedmont 3A match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, Central Cabarrus was overwhelmed by West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC), 4-2, in a league match.

The Yellow Jackets (3-5) will now prepare for their match against Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Wolf Pack go into the Rocky River 2A/3A match with a 4-7 record. In their last match, Parkwood was overwhelmed by Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC), 8-4, in a non-league match.
