January 5, 2024: Tioga, LA 71405 In Friday's non-league outing, the Tioga Indians (Tioga, LA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting North Vermilion Patriots (Maurice, LA), by a margin of 48-15.
The Indians (17-5) will now prepare for their outing against Peabody (Alexandria, LA). The Warhorses go into the 4A District 2 outing with a 3-16 record. In their last outing, Peabody was trounced by Westgate (New Iberia, LA), 36-32, in a non-league outing.
The Patriots now own a 10-5 record. They play next when they host Church Point for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 9. North Vermilion will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 52-46 non-league loss to Oakdale (Oakdale, LA). The Bears record now stands at 13-6.
