St. Joseph Bears (St. Joseph, MI) backers left the game in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team achieve victory over the host Harper Creek Beavers (Battle Creek, MI), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bears (4-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Churchill (Livonia, MI). The Chargers enter the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Churchill was dropped by Rockford (Rockford, MI), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Beavers meet the Sturgis Trojans (Sturgis, MI) in a Southwest Michigan - East challenge, on Wednesday, September 7. Harper Creek will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
