Aurora Central Trojans (Aurora, CO) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Northglenn Norsemen (Northglenn, CO), 72-46 in a league bout.

With the victory, Aurora Central upgrades its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Trojans host Prairie View (Henderson, CO) to play the Thunderhawks in a 5A East Metro bout on Tuesday, January 29. The Thunderhawks come into the bout with a record of 5-12. Prairie View won 58-38 in their recent league bout against Westminster (Westminster, CO)

Next up, the Norsemen play the Adams City Eagles (Commerce City, CO) in a 5A East Metro bout, on Tuesday, January 29. Northglenn will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 3-14 record after their 53-48 league loss to Hinkley (Aurora, CO).
