The Rankin Red Devils basketball team scored 78 points and held the host Gordon Longhorns to 77 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Friday.

The Red Devils now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grandfalls-Royalty for a 1A Region II District 10 contest on Friday, February 3.

The Longhorns (17-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lingleville (Lingleville, TX). The Cardinals enter the 1A Region III District 19 contest with a 14-8 record.
