In Monday's non-league battle, the host Mt. Vernon Marauders soccer squad scored a close 4-0 triumph over the Fishers Tigers.

The Marauders (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers, IN). The Royals enter the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Hamilton Southeastern by Westfield (Westfield, IN), 1-0, in a league challenge.

The Tigers now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Brownsburg for a Hoosier Crossroads challenge on Wednesday, September 16. Fishers will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Plainfield (Plainfield, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-3.
