Georgia High School Softball - Deerfield-Windsor bounces Miller County
September 9, 2021: Albany, GA 31707 The Deerfield-Windsor Knights routed the visiting Miller County Pirates softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Knights (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Marion County (Buena Vista, GA). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 12-5 record. In their last battle, Marion County topped Manchester (Manchester, GA), 14-2, in a league battle.
The Pirates now sport a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Pataula Charter Academy for a A Public Region 1 battle on Monday, September 13. Miller County will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 8-0 league loss to Seminole County (Donalsonville, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-3.
