August 19, 2021: Raeford, NC 28376 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC) and the visiting South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC), saw Hoke County's volleyball squad beat South View by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Hoke County upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Bucks host Lumberton (Lumberton, NC) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Monday, August 23. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Lumberton lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Hoke County (Raeford, NC)
The Tigers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Laney for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 24. South View will play a Buccaneers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Pender (Burgaw, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 2-1.
