Evergreen Valley Cougars (San Jose, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Prospect Panthers (Saratoga, CA), 13-4 in a league test.

With the win, Evergreen Valley upgrades its record to 10-14 on the season. The Cougars host Piedmont Hills (San Jose, CA) to battle the Pirates in a Santa Teresa test on Friday, May 11. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 11-11. Piedmont Hills lost 18-4 in their recent league test against Live Oak (Morgan Hill, CA)

With the defeat, Prospect falls to 6-18 on the season. The Panthers travel to Oak Grove (San Jose, CA) to battle the Eagles in a Santa Teresa test on Friday, May 11. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 10-13. Oak Grove lost 6-5 in their recent league test against Silver Creek (San Jose, CA)
