Illinois High School Basketball - Marquette overwhelms Ashton-Franklin Center
December 3, 2021: Ashton, IL 61006 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Marquette Crusaders (Ottawa, IL) and the host Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders (Ashton, IL), saw Marquette's basketball squad wallop Ashton-Franklin Center by a count of 80-38.
With the victory, Marquette upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Hall (Spring Valley, IL) to play the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 7. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Hall lost 70-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Pontiac (Pontiac, IL)
Next up, the Raiders play the Annawan Braves (Annawan, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 7. Ashton-Franklin Center will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 67-32 non-league loss to Brimfield (Brimfield, IL).
