September 17, 2019: Glenelg, MD 21737 The Glenelg Gladiators volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting South River Seahawks to 0 in the Gladiators non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Gladiators now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Broadneck for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 24. Glenelg will meet a Bruins team coming off a 3-0 league win over Severna Park (Severna Park, MD). The Bruins record now stands at 8-2.
The Seahawks (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Meade (Fort Meade, MD). The Mustangs enter the Anne Arundel County game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Meade defeated Oakland Mills (Columbia, MD), 3-0, in a non-league game.

Glenelg came out strong with its serving and passing. Although South River competed well early on, Glenelg's defense and serving would play out well and they would be the team more in system versus South River. Big games were had by the whole team.
