January 30, 2024: Comstock Park, MI 49321 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Kenowa Hills Knights (Grand Rapids, MI) and the host Comstock Park Panthers (Comstock Park, MI), saw Kenowa Hills's basketball squad hold off Comstock Park by a count of 51-44.
With the victory, Kenowa Hills upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Knights host Cedar Springs (Cedar Springs, MI) to play the Red Hawks in a Ottawa-Kent - Gold challenge on Friday, February 2. The Red Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 12-2. Cedar Springs won 61-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Tri County Area (Howard City, MI)
Next up, the Panthers play the Belding Black Knights (Belding, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Silver challenge, on Wednesday, January 31. Comstock Park will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Black Knights come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 53-30 non-league win over Sparta (Sparta, MI).
