January 28, 2023: Britton, SD 57430 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Wyndmere/Lidgerwood Warbirds (Wyndmere, ND) and the host Britton-Hecla Braves (Britton, SD), saw Wyndmere/Lidgerwood's basketball squad hold off Britton-Hecla by a tally of 42-35.
With the victory, Wyndmere/Lidgerwood improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign.
Next up, the Braves play the Sisseton Redmen (Sisseton, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Britton-Hecla will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Redmen come into the challenge with a 11-1 record after their 52-43 non-league loss to Hamlin (Hayti, SD).
