Fountain Central Mustangs (Veedersburg, IN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Donovan Wildcats (Donovan, IL), 56-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Fountain Central upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Covington (Covington, IN) to play the Trojans in a Wabash River bout on Friday, December 2. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Covington won 50-49 in their recent non-league bout against Western Boone (Thorntown, IN)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Schlarman Hilltoppers (Danville, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 26. Donovan will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
