The Streamwood Sabres held off the visiting Aurora East Tomcats volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's league test.

The Sabres now have a 8-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bartlett for a Upstate Eight test on Tuesday, October 1. Streamwood will confront a Hawks team coming off a 2-1 league win over Glenbard East (Lombard, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 10-5.

The Tomcats (2-16) will now prepare for their test against Joliet Central (Joliet, IL). The Steelmen enter the non-league test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Joliet Central was nudged by Minooka (Minooka, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
